Proper dance attire is necessary in class for many reasons. The instructor needs to be able to view that the dancer is in correct form and alignment. This is hard to see in baggy shirts and pants. It is also a safety issue when students are wearing pants that are too long or ill fitted. Improper shoes or poorly fitting shoes are also not safe to dance in.
We do not require specific leotards or specific color dancewear. However, when purchasing shoes we ask that you purchase shoes that align with the class. You can purchase shoes or take a peek at the styles suggested on our online storefront www.shopnimbly.com/amysdancedynamics. You can also visit Broadway Dance Boutique in Norwell (they also now have a mobile service where they come to you for a fitting).
